Combined decades of experience across entrepreneurship, military leadership, international development, and institutional finance. We built Ivystone because the venture world needed a firm that measures success in both returns and real-world outcomes.

Our Approach
At Ivystone Capital, we believe the future belongs to founders who refuse to compromise between profit and purpose. We're not traditional VCs. We're a comprehensive impact capital growth advisory — providing multi-stage funding strategy, IP protection, go-to-market excellence, operational systems, talent development, and strategic M&A support.
This convergence creates unprecedented opportunity for founders solving real problems and investors seeking returns with meaning. Ivystone exists to connect both sides of this equation with discipline, rigor, and unwavering standards.
Profit without apology. Purpose without compromise.

Our Principles
the standards we refuse to lower
Every investment decision, every founder relationship, every co-investor conversation is filtered through these four commitments. They are not aspirations. They are the operating conditions under which we work — or we do not work.
Profit Without Apology
Financial return is not the enemy of purpose. It is the proof that purpose works at scale. We do not ask our portfolio companies to sacrifice margin for mission. We build the systems that make both inevitable.
Purpose Without Compromise
Impact is not a marketing layer. We measure outcomes using IRIS+ metrics — the global standard for impact performance — and we refuse to call something impact if the numbers do not prove it. Intention without verification is just a press release.
Founders First, Always
We built Ivystone because we are founders. We have raised capital, navigated regulatory environments, managed payroll through uncertain quarters, and carried the weight that founders carry. Every policy we set, every term we negotiate, passes one test: does this serve the entrepreneur who is building something that matters?
Institutional Rigor, Human Heart
Four hundred family office relationships. Military operational discipline. Global development experience across emerging and established markets. We bring the full credibility of institutional infrastructure — and the empathy of people who have been exactly where our founders are standing.
The Ivystone Story
how we got here
The Question
Why should founders have to choose?
Entrepreneurs who had collectively built, raised capital for, and scaled businesses across clean energy, material science, and technology — sat down and asked a question that venture capital had never answered: why does the industry force founders to choose between building a great business and doing good? We decided the premise was wrong. Then we built a firm around proving it.
The Thesis
The convergence was already happening.
Eighteen months of research confirmed what the data was already signaling. The $124 trillion generational wealth transfer is moving toward a generation that refuses to separate portfolio performance from planetary accountability. Impact-aligned assets under management had crossed $1.57 trillion and were accelerating. We did not invent the convergence. We built the firm to meet it at full speed.
The Operating System
A system built for what actually breaks.
Most venture firms have a checklist. We built an operating system. The Ivystone OS codifies what we learned from watching promising companies break at the points where capital alone cannot save them — founder alignment, growth infrastructure, impact accountability, and network leverage.
The Network
Access that took decades to build.
Four hundred family office relationships spanning multi-generational wealth and next-generation inheritors across four continents. Strategic partnerships with Donor-Advised Fund managers deploying philanthropic capital alongside investment returns. Sovereign wealth advisors and global development organizations who move at a different scale.
The Portfolio
Proof of concept — in production.
Smart Plastic Technologies: $500 million in contracts executed. Nerd Intelligent Power: $2.6 billion in signed contracts, 10,000 completed projects across 14 states. EXP Data: $3.4 billion in secured data center sites identified. These are not projections or promises. They are companies we are building, right now, at scale.
